Actually, we've got a rather large amount of disgruntled MtG players out there looking very forward to the Middle-earth: The Lidless Eye (MELE) release. Something about MtG players liking to play the bad guys or something, I guess. ;) Remember, you don't have to have bought any cards previous to MELE to be able to play MELE. It is a STAND ALONE expansion. Of course, if you do have previous card sets, it couldn't hurt! All of the cards for MECCG are interchangeable (with a few exceptions noted in the rules). The next expansion, due out in August is called Middle-earth: Against The Shadow (MEAS). This expansion set is boosters only and is specifically designed to further integrate Middle-earth: The Wizards (METW) with MELE. The real fun starts with the expansion after MEAS. Called, Middle-earth: The White Hand (MEWH), this set allows a player to play a corrupted Wizard. You're not playing for the Free People, you're not playing for Sauron, you're out for yourself and everything you can conquer. I think this set will be my personal favorite!
