Full Moon - November, 2002 Quarter Calls: Fully engulf yourself in the energy you are calling. Let your analytic mind release its grasp on your senses and ready yourself to trance. East, starring Heather South, starring Branwen West, starring Aria North, starring Andy Up, starring Audra Ground, starring Brian Divinity, starring Trevor Circle casting, starring Trevor Divinity call: Tao. Yin. Yang. Divine. Goddess. God. Human. Woman. Man. Existence. Matter. Energy. Lover. Leader. Warrior. Brahma. Vishnu. Shiva. Maiden. Mother. Crone. Solid. Liquid. Gas. Circle casting: I cast this circle to keep the energy of those within, within, and of those without, without. May this space be safe and inspirational. The circle is cast. We are between the worlds. Packing: We will now share (briefly) what's going on for us and what (if anything) we're looking for. Departure: We will explicitly put our minds into trance states. This process may be different from you than your usual guided meditation technique. You may wish to stand (feet about shoulder width apart, weight on the balls of your feet). We'll start by breathing in unison; we may diverge later. Breathe slowly and somewhat audibly (so that you can focus on your breath). Drum and bagpipe will be playing in the background. The Trip: Use the mentalscape that comes to you. You may find it helpful to visualize going down a tunnel, working with a particular animal, etc. Pay attention to senses besides vision, too. When you meet a spirit, thank it. Ask if it needs anything. Ask if it has anything to give you. Thank it for its gifts. We are looking for things to take back, whether we need them or whether someone else may. These may be explicit messages or subtler things you pick up. The Return: When you have returned from your journey, place your hand over your heart to signal your presence. Try to remain in something of a trance state. Once everyone's back, we'll share what we found. Pie and Mead We give thanks to the Earth goddess. May your bounties of summer remain ever nourishing and tasty through the cold dark season of gluttony. Baked in a warm crust Stuff and goo blend together My taste buds are piqued We give thanks to the Sky god. May your soft white blanket cover our mother and rehydrate her for the coming year. In it we shall revel. Sip. Savor. Swish. Sigh. Bees buzz. Build booze. Beautiful. Dreamy divine drink. Quarter dismissals: Divinity, ground, up, north, west, south, east. The circle is open!
