I don't know about you, but to me this sounds like there a Cut-Up Agent.
Andalusian Goat, anyone?

PLAYING THE GOAT

Miss Adele Brown and her mother, of St. Anne's Bay, Jamaica, met a
talking goat while they were out collecting fruit during an election
campaign in 1992. The goat prophecied that unless the Green Party of
Jamaica came to power very soon the destruction of the planet would
accelerate. They asked the goat what they should do and it said:
"There are no limits to creativity and no limits to subversion. Vote for
any candidate opposed to the Year 2000 Party." Then it wandered off
into the trees.

of course, playing with whatever house rules you like is the best of
all worlds. the Great Fix is actually an attempt to create a very
large scale set of changes to the game (as house rules, of course)
which would make the game (in my opinion) more interesting. this
is part of the motivation behind the "crank to call any" change.
also, it is an attempt at practicality; a simple conversion of
phrase which is easy to remember. a good fix or house rule shouldnt
be so complex or long as to make it hard to apply or difficult
to remember.

i would agree with the sentiment here, but my ample play experience
suggests its a little too easy to win, esp. in multiplayer. the Great
Fix is meant to make it very difficult to win.

once the Great Fix is complete, it will be followed by the Lesser Fix.
this attempts to address only 10 or so cards which are particular
problems... instead of a change of rules (Great Fix) its more of
an errata sheet.  things that are addressed in the Lesser Fix are;
Copper Dagger and Charm Bracelet, New Blood, Tulpa's Secret,
Deadly Inspiration, Pharaoh's Secret, and a few others. basically,
the Lesser Fix means to remove blatant risk free influence... :)
