I just hope that we see some of those folks back at GenCon signed up for the
tournament.

On that subject, I was looking at other Con websites the other day, and noticed
that the wording of the GenCon OnTE Games gives much more the feeling of being
for experienced players only. I hope that doesn't scare away people who were
introduced to the game for the first time last year, and may not have had much
chance to play since.

On the Pharoh/quisling/gladstein deckbuilding front, I built one -- my
first successful deck as a new player -- a few weeks ago that kicks. It's
just over 40 cards. I'll post what I have if you're still interested.

ps I'm going to turn the throckmortons into heavy hitters with orders
     from tomorrow, you'll see...

From the perspective of the Million Card Giveaway, maybe this means that a lot
of the people who learned the game and walked off with a burger box are
actually playing the game, or at least keeping it around as something to play
now and then. (Anybody on this list start playing as a result of last year's
promotion?) Heck, they may even have gone out and cleaned out the stock of
some stores...or they may never have been able to locate the game in stores.
It will be interesting at Gen Con this year to see how many people come over
to buy On the Edge at our booth. (We're not planning a big give-away, but we
should have a few cases at the current prices.)
