Yes. Arthur is unaffected by PC, while everyone else is.
Yes, this sucks for Arthur. Too bad.

Only if the attacking charcter has a VERY low number. Yes, this means
that glugs are screwed by PC.

This is incorrect. Immunity is almost always relevant -- if a character is
immune, they are unaffected (as long as they are in play) by all
effects with that Trait. Yes, this means that Immune:Control
characters will be able to unturn normally if you can (through various
means) give the ELF Wave Generator the trait "Control". Yes, it also
means that Glugs are unaffected by any of the Astral edges, even the
all the time ones.

My question, and you can reply privately so as not to spam the list.
When is the East Coast Games Fair? I keep seeing stuff about it on the
trading cards games newsgroup, but all it is is who is running what
games, like Shadowfist. If anyone can give dates and or a website I can
go to for info I'd appreciate it. Since my cell and I are located in
Pennsylvania and New Jersey, its possible some of us could arrange to
attend and set up to play some On the Edge.

Just let me know.

Thanks;

David Freier

It's not as if the list is so overspammed that it can't use a useful
advertisement...
(I may or may not be making the ECGF -- anyone wanna split a room or
something to make it easier?)
That said, the ECGF is on May 8-10, in East Rutherford, NJ.

For any folks looking for information on specific gaming conventions, here are a
couple of web links you need to bookmark:

http://oeonline/~dolphin2/
Done by the Detroit group, it also has links to other gaming convention listing
   pages.

http://www.multigenre.com/NEGCL.html
This is a great list for the Northeast US. (One of the ones listed on the above)

In direct answer to David's question, it's May 8-10 at the Sheraton Meadowlands, in
Meadowlands, NJ. Their website is:
        http://www.andonunlimited.com/ECG98/index.htm

Most of these conventions are looking for folks to run games. It shouldn't be
considered spam to start encouraging both our OnTE and OvTE players to consider
offering to run games. Atlas can't afford to be everywhere, so it might be up to
the fans to keep our games alive at the 'Cons, especially now that OnTE is pretty
much dead (as far as new products are concerned), and OvTE isn't apparently getting
much push in distributor circles.

Subject: [The Edge] CPC Handbook

Hey folks. In my Copious Free Time(TM), I'm back to doing some writing on my
"CPC Handbook" project. The seed of this sourcebook was already published as
an article in Pyramid last year, "The CPC Files." The basic idea is a
sourcebook for a series in which the PCs are CPC agents or associated
characters. Rather than being naive burger, they are knowledgeable
investigators of the supernatural in the service of Her Exaltedness.

So my question for the list is...what cool topics would you want to see in
such a sourcebook?

As it stands, I envision the book as having two parts, and being targetted at
both players and GMs. The first part would be the Agent's File, having
information open to any player in a CPC series. It includes:

* CPC Character Creation, including a half dozen pregenerated characters that
can be used as PCs, NPCs, or inspirational examples
* Information about the CPC
* Technology - available fron CPC fringe scientists, or familiar from past
threats the CPC has faced
* Field Guide to the Paranormal - a sort of dictionary of weird things, from
abductions to water power (fringe science that splits water into oxygen and
hydrogen, and then recombines them to release energy). Players can get some
of the background that a CPC agent would have on fringe phenomena and terms;
GMs can mine it for story ideas. (Water power violates the laws of physics,
so how does this oppenheimer's machine work...perhaps through psychic energy?
CPC agents are dispatched to investigate...)

The Administrator's File is for the GM(s)...there may be more than one if
"troupe-style play" is employed. Some sections I see it having include:

* Allies & Enemies -- Some info on other forces that may cooperate with or
hinder the CPC
* Plots -- big plots, and smaller adventure seeds; maybe even an introductory
CPC scenario.
* Important GMCs of the CPC (top administrators, etc.)

So that's what I'm working with at the moment. I thought, what the heck, why
not see what the EdgeList would like to see covered in such a book, and what
thoughts there are about the elements above. Any comments?
