S8 was (mostly) withheld from circulation because of the problem with the art (the picture is black and white), but there are some copies out there. S24 was originally distributed at GenCon, until someone noticed that the collector number read "CHASE" instead of "S". So, Atlas stopped handing them out, marked out the collector number on every single one that was left (by hand), and shipped some off to Adventures Unlimited. There are a few unmarked "S24"s out there, but as the blackout can be taken off quite easily by a little solvent, there is no real way to tell them from the marked ones. I have most of the promo cards available for trade and/or sale, and would also be interested in acquiring most of the promos via trade as well. Anyone interested can email me privately. There are several items that I am always looking for: Promo and Chase cards, and Resounding Bell.
