Because I didn't like how it worked in play. I wanted "good" to be
two dice, but still have the trait advance more slowly than common
traits.

Most spells are pass/fail.

Costs?

On average, yes.

Actually, I've trimmed defensive spells quite a bit. Since the
defensive skill roll reduces the roll result, and the lowered roll
result reduces damage, there is no need for spell-based armor.
This is good, because it doesn't appear in the source material. I
will upload the next revision in the next couple of days.

I have no idea to what you are referring. What cost? The only cost
is the expenditure of a magic point to cast a spell.

Also, I wanted the trait progresion of technical traits to
parallel that of common traits. Technical/Ununusual traits are
just one step down from Common traits.

Trait Category Average	Good Superior
T/U: Technical/Unusual 0 dice	2 dice	3 dice
(doctor, electronics, sorceress)
NT/U: Narrow (Noncombat) Technical/Unusual 0 dice	2 dice	4 dice
(dentist, robotics, wizard etiquette)
S: Standard 2 dice	3 dice	4 dice
(gladiator, agile, brilliant)
NS: Narrow (Noncombat) Standard 2 dice	4 dice	6 dice
(patient, double-jointed, Old Earth history)

A "superior" tech trait has the same dice as a "good" standard
trait. I like parallel constructions.

I made some minor changes in the thundarr/ote rules (defensive magic), and
I've finished synopses for two episodes.

I've updated the Thundarr web site, including episode summaries &
game stats for four or five episodes.

I'd like to know if folks who know Over the Edge but don't know
Thundarr the Barbarian think the game stats are sufficiently
detailed.
