You too can build a cheap honor deck! Kolat Geishas are key to this deck. It was desined for a mostly military environment, though it's beat several passive decks. The ideal combo is to give an opponent's largest personality a Geisha, then when he attacks, play the Battlefield, have someone like Kakita Ariteko intentionally lose an Iaijitsu Duel to the Geisha'd personality (gaining you 10 honor) and then let your people get slaughtered (gaining 4 honor per card). While your opponent's not attacking, duel the Geisha'd personality. If you lose, you gain the honor, if you win you gain the honor. If Reju ties, you gain the honor. Use Ariteko to restore any Geisha'd personality to honor if it happens to get dishonored. Buy your personalities for full whenever possible, but if you've got an option to bring out someone for cheap or not at all, pull them out. Duh. The Shizue/Suspicions combo is slightly dangerous, and almost messed me up a couple of times, but was a critical factor in another game. Use with caution. If suspicions hasn't come up, Shizue can increase the honor gain of someone with a Geisha before you syphon it off. For extra flavor, use something like a picture of Monica Lewinsky as the Imperial favor. When building this deck, I tried to keep the cheese level moderately low. Reju/Kharmic is about the limit. Further, I have no Avoid Fate etc., so while I'm playing with some cheese, I accept all cheese that comes.
